Finding one is easy. Just visit a local office supply store such as Staples®, Office Max®, or
Office Depot® Best Buy® also offers many rebates on
electronics such as these and has a good selection as well.
General Setup Guidelines for both wireless spectrums (802.11 a & b):
Please note: As there are many different wireless products available, we can only assist
in general setup, as well as provide general reference links pertaining to the
major manufacturers of Wireless Cards and Accessories.
1. Ensure everything is powered on and in good working order.
2. Ensure that proper drivers and software are installed per manufacturer's
instructions.
3. Configure your wireless card to connect to an Infrastructure (AP) network
with no encryption or WEP key.
For 2.4 GHz (802.11b), set your card to transmit on channel 10. The proper network or SSID for this is "Airnet24."
For 5.8 GHz (802.11a), set your card to transmit on channel 68. The proper network or SSID for this is "Airnet58."
4. Your TCP/IP settings should also be set for DHCP (obtain address
automatically). Specifications are as follows:
2.4 GHz (802.11b)
Infrastructure (Access Point) mode
Open network (no WEP key)
SSID: Airnet24
Channel: 10
DHCP (network address and configuration obtained automatically)

5.8 GHz (802.11a):
Infrastructure (Access Point) mode
Open network (no WEP key)
SSID: Airnet58
Channel: 60
DHCP (network address and configuration obtained automatically)
